Don't hate me cuz this is where i am right now. One of the greatest mother's day eva!!! Just laying in my beach bed with my laptop, internet service, sun, a good book! It doesn't get any better than this! I do miss my kiddos terribly though. Ella just called on my cell phone to say Happy Mother's Day. She doesn't know that's gonna cost us approximately $159,355.00 to pay for that call. Bless her - she didn't know any better!
When the swine flu seemed to not be such a big deal, we decided to go ahead and come on our trip. We are so glad we did. There are hardly any tourists here, which is good for us, but I'm sure not great for business down here. When we arrived at the Cancun Airport, they took our temperature before we were allowed in. We were talking to a worker here at our resort and he said all employees have to have their temp taken before they work, and if they have a fever, they are not allowed to work. We have no worries of the swine flu. Life is good.

There are iguanas everywhere. kind of freaky.
This is the parrot that says "HELLO" everytime we pass by him. Last night I was trying to get him to say bye. After I gave up and a few minutes, and when we were about 10 feet away, he goes "BYE BYE". Funny bird! This morning at breakfast he said, "Hi THERE" I thought he was saying "HEATHER"!
We miss you guys!

Umh.....kinda hate you. :) What a view! Love that gorgeous water. I like the iguanas, too. When we went to Tulum, a bunch of kids were feeding them flowers. They gobbled them right up. Give it a try! (if you want to get that close)
