Brooks had his first game on football game on Monday night. It had been pouring rain the entire weekend and on the day of the game, so they moved it to the high school field, which would have been loads of fun.....but.... they decided to play 2 of the 7th grade teams on the field at the same time. One team got one half of the 50 yards and the other team got the other half of the 50 yards. Which was really really weird. There are so many 7th grade boys that play football so we did a lot of watching this...
He's #89.. Cute boy!
We got to see a little of this...
And it looked like he might get a little action here...
but I'm sorry to report there was no great catch and a 50 yard run for a TD. Maybe next time!
It was still fun, even though it was really like a mini scrimage.

Love the new photos on your header. And are we ever ready for some football!?!
How fun! I miss football games; enjoy them.
#89 is the cutest! Still proud of you for not monogramming this jersey or any others.
We've been wayching some middle school football here too! EVery Tuesday! So much fun!
I was impressed how you knew which one was Brandon because it took me, I swear 10 minutes to find my own son! He even told me what number he was but the 81 I kept looking at was way too tall. Now I can watch Brooks #89. I couldn't tell who was who. And you are a good mom...bringing your camera!
Great pics of Brooks; these are keepers! Hope he enjoys football this year, although GramPam would rather he go for that golf scholarship - much easier on the bod!
That's the real deal! Sam would love love love to see him play. He looks so grown up on the field! Kinda makes me sad :(
