DO YOU WANNA SEE HOW AWESOME GOD IS??!!

OH.MY.GOODNESS.GRACIOUS.SAKES.....

Y'ALL --- THIS IS HOW AWESOME GOD IS..... WAIT UNTIL YOU HEAR THIS!!!!!

Here's the story.... last Fall, we did a fundraiser for charity:water..... you all know about it.... cuz I hounded you for months to donate... to build a water well for clean drinking water for people in Africa.  To be perfectly honest with you..... charity:water builds wells in other third world countries besides Africa.  I just assumed that it would be Africa.  Well, after we raised all of the funds for the water well, charity:water notified me that we did not exactly have a say in where it would be built.... Okay, I thought.  Well, whatever, because everyone needs clean drinking water and all of that mumbo jumbo I have told y'all about.... women and children  walking for hours and hours to get clean drinking water for their families.... and now these children CAN ACTUALLY GO TO SCHOOL INSTEAD OF HAVING TO GO GET ---FOR CRYING OUT LOUD-----WATER!!!!!  for their daily needs.  And how one in six people don't have clean drinking water (except I think that has changed, thanks to charity:water and other organizations doing amazing work ---- to one in 8.)

So as the story goes.... I have been meaning to email charity:water.... to just tell them.... that if there is a need and if they are going to do it anyway..... please can the well that we raised the funds for PLEASE be in ETHIOPIA!!!!! in honor of our precious new son and his birth parents and family.

Well, I have been getting almost daily emails or facebook updates from charity:water about the needs and what they are doing in Haiti.... So I almost felt bad to email charity:water and even ask them about a well in Ethiopia.  So I resigned myself to the fact that the well that we raised the funds for might actually and most likely be in Haiti.... which was totally good.... because the people of Haiti need clean water too.

So.... my point to this post is that...... I just got an email from charity:water... just now.... and guess where the well is going that we raised the funds for??????????????????????????????????????????????????

without me even asking them..... that's where it is being built.... cuz that's HOW GOD ROLLS!  I see it as another confirmation, as yes, this is MY CALL FOR THE CHEATHAMS----  A SON FROM ETHIOPIA.  We couldn't be happier!!!

P.S.S.  A precious preacher at our church once preached a sermon on missing out on doing good things (or God's call)... and he said (oh.my.word.... I'm gonna butcher this.... something like....) if you don't do these good things or what God has called you to do....  your life and His kingdom will just go on without you and you will never really know the joy and God's blessings of what He had in store for you if you had followed His call.   I'm here to tell that the joy is SO AWESOME!  (Jonathan, i'm sure you never read my blog but if you happen to this one time, please feel free to correct your words in the comment section, because I KNOW you said it better than how I just did.)

P.S.S.S.   I can't wait to see that water well on Google Earth!!!!!!! It's gonna be awesome!!!

Wonder if we will actually get to see it when we go to pick up our son?!?!
