So while we wait for our little boy, life goes on and the Cheatham Casa...
I got to go to a real luncheon that I got to get all dressed up for. Fun! Happy 40th Birthday to my beautiful friend, Stephanie. Her mother-in-law threw her a "leave no detail undone" birthday luncheon.... Let me just tell you that "Manaw" leaves nothing out... I wouldn't have missed this party for the world. Manaw sets the bar. Just Amazing. I am sure she worked for weeks to have it as perfect as she did. Every tiny detail and everything made homemade from scratch. For those that love antiques, her house is TO DIE FOR. I wish I would have taken more pics than I did...but here are a few.
Beautiful Table
Beautiful Cake
Beautiful Birthday Girl
Beautiful Girls.....
Okay... This is where I need your ATTENTION.... Jacquelyn, the top left beautiful one in the picture, is a hairstylist in Frisco.... so, if you need your hair done beautifully, like hers...... she has offered to help us fundraise and half of the profits will go toward our adoption.... She specializes in color too! HOW SWEET IS SHE? SERIOUSLY SWEET!
Here is her info....
Jacquelyn, you are such a sweetie pie for doing this...
And if that wasn't enough... for those of you that aren't in this area, she offered to donate a percentage of her profits from her etsy store also!!!
Her etsy store is:
Very cute stuff!
And life goes on with the kiddos too... lots of swimming already! I don't know how they do it... still a little cold for me...

Beautiful indeed! The cake, the girls, the table, etc.
I made a hair appointment for Monday!
Thanks for leaving me a comment the other day...sorry I am just getting back to you. :) If it makes you feel any better, we are also still waiting on Gladney approval. This is so different than the agency we used for our Guat. adoption who was SUPER fast with getting our paperwork turned around. I've been a little disheartened....but just trying to trust in the Lord's timing. We are hoping maybe this week (it's been two weeks and one day for us since they started working on it). And you asked what age range we're doing....0-24 months, so prob. we'll get 13-24 months and a girl. We are gonna be really close in the process I bet.....exciting! Praying for you during this wait! Oh and you look just beautiful in your first pic at the party!
Oops, meant to put my blog with my comment...since it's wordpress it doesn't show up....I think you know it, but it's calcrew.wordpress.com
What a fun party!
How do kids swim when it's that cold? They have no fear :)
We tried to swim in a heated pool a week ago and it was still chilly to me at 79 degrees! The kids were in heaven.
Heather! I absolutely cannot believe y'all are adopting!! I am SO incredibly inspired and amazed and happy for/by you. I can't wait to see how the Lord blesses you in the days to come. The Alexander blog has changed my life since the day I read it almost two years ago. Can I feature you on my blog today?
