Adoption update

We got a lovely email from Kate in NY who is compiling our dossier for us, because Kate is a professional and we basically know nothing.  What is a dossier you ask? A boatload of documents that you have to compile to adopt all about us.  It is all of those documents that took us Derek, like 4 months to gather.  Anyway, back to my point, she said all of our documents were "authenticated without a hitch".  Which is awesome!!! So we are just waiting on that fingerprint appointment next Tuesday and then we have to wait for another important piece of paper, the 171H (it's called something like that).... and then we will be very close to being on the WAITLIST!!! :)  I have been saying for so long..."I just can't wait to be on that waitlist".  I really didn't know it was going to take so long to get to the point of being on the waitlist.  I am hoping by the end of July we will be there! Maybe sooner.  God's timing is so perfect and he is matching us up with the perfect timing of our little boy that He has picked out for us!

BTW- I feel so totally grown up throwing around words like "Dossier and Authenticated"!!!
