Miss Middle

Sometimes it's hard being the middle.  Sometimes it's hard when you have an older brother and he's the only boy, so he gets lots of attention.  Sometimes it's hard when you have a little sister that is teeny tiny and  the youngest and an excellent gymnast, so she gets lots of attention.... but you are special too because you are the MIDDLE!  The cream in the middle of the cookie, the best part!

Well, Halle Caroline finally found something that puts a smile on her face from ear to ear.  It makes her light up like nothing I have ever seen before.  She has been one happy little girl since she found "HER THING"!  It is a such a joy to watch her light shine while she cheers.  She is also just as excited to go to any and every practice.  And I have to say that she is quite the chatty cathy when she is picked up from practice telling me all about it.

So this weekend has been all about Halle Caroline!!! I think it's the first weekend ever that we have devoted to just her activities.... we've had lots of weekends at the baseball fields, lots of weekends at the tennis courts, lots of weekends at gymnastics meets..... but this is Halle Caroline's first weekend that is hers alone.

We absolutely LOVE her gym and where she is and how it is building her character and spirit.  It's a special and unique gym that teaches the girls to "let their light shine for Jesus" while they are doing their thing.  They pray after every single practice - it doesn't get any sweeter than that! We are just so happy that Halle Caroline is a part of this gym!

Oh! And by the way!!! Their team - "PROMISE" - WON FIRST PLACE!!! They were so good!!! All those months of practice paid off!! So proud of all the girls!

So, this is what we did on day 26 and 27 of waiting for Little Man! He would think we have totally lost our minds if we drug him to that crazy competition! ;)
