Halloween

It was a different kind of Halloween this year...

We met at the cousin's house to eat and take pictures.
That has been a tradition since Brooks was a baby.
But the big kids are getting so old now that they have their own agendas.
So after we all ate and took a few pictures...
the big kids headed their separate ways to hang with their friends,
while the little kids trick-or-treated together.

I did not even get a picture of Beck in his full on costume on Halloween night...
and I'm pretty sure we lost the glasses after the first 5 minutes!
but here is one that I posted a few weeks earlier.

He is DJ Lance from Yo Gabba Gabba!
(isn't that his name? ha!)
Beck loves him some yo gabba gabba!

Beck and Aunt Amber

The nerd
seriously - I sent her to Aimee's house - 20 minutes before we were supposed to meet for dinner.
Thank the Lord for sweet Aimee that set her up with a great costume!

All 10 of the grandkids on Derek's side

If Beck couldn't get in the car...
well... he just climbed right on on top!

Cute picture...
but I CANNOT believe that I didn't get a picture of the 4 kids together!
I guess I didn't have the energy to chase Mr. Beck down!
Halloween is just a crazy night and everyone is high on sugar!
Brooks just came straight from the driving range..
no costume for him this year...
except it is a big surprise that he is wearing an Ole Miss hat!
(side note: Derek and Brooks had the fabulous opportunity to attend the TEXAS/ Ole Miss game..
so Brooks is just a little about the hoddy toddy! (is that how you say it Alison? :) )

and this is the point where mom rolled out to drive the bigs to their plans...
so the pictures take a turn for the worse at this point -
while dad is in charge! ;)
But evidently...
looks like Beck got the hang of trick-or-treating!

It was a super fun night!
You just wonder what in the world was going through Beck's little mind.
He must think we are crazy!

Sometimes I just think....
if he could go back to Ethiopia and tell all the crazy things about America!
It would probably be really funny!
