Boo!

Speaking of our neighborhood again... it has been a yearly tradition since we moved into our house 4 years ago to "Boo" people. Just in case you don't know what this is... you get a container of candy and "ding dong ditch" a house and leave the candy on their doorstep. Then you run like the dickens and hide. Ideally you would get to a place that you could watch them open the door and be so surprised. It doesn't always happen that way!! Then that house has to put the piece of paper in their window saying that they have been booed - so they don't get it twice. And it is their turn to "Boo" someone. Anyway, the kids are always so excited to "Boo" someone every year. It is a highlight of the season! They start asking on October 1st when they can boo someone. So this picture is the first "Boo" in our neighborhood! We are booing our great neighbors that live behind us - the S's.

Whoops! Brooks almost dropped all the candy!

How fun! I wish we had something like that in our neighborhood. Instead, we have some little terds that like to ring the doorbell at 2am. The last time they did it, I didn't want to step outside for fear of what I might step in! Your neighboorhood pranks are much more neighborly :)

okay abby totally wrote that without even telling me..she forged my name! what i do want to say is that I can't really get into your blog because it makes me realize you're spending more time on it than you are trying to figure out a time to come see me. I see where your priorities are. but you can tell your kids we said hi derek or course.
