The day I have dreaded for so long---- HAS COME!!! One of a mother's worst nightmares! All my friends have had it and I have often boasted - to never have been a victim. Well - no more boasting for me..... I stated last night at 2:45 am to Derek - this is a MODERN DAY PLAGUE!!! LICE INFESTATION!!!! I can't even tell you how violated I feel. Our home, her bed, her toys, our car. It is completely miserable!!!
We discovered it at about 11:30 pm last night and we finally climbed into bed at about 3:00 am. After combing every strand of hair and spraying and washing everything she could have possibly touched in our house. Who in the world has time for this??? So if you are waiting on monogramming - well I have been put a little behind due to the modern day plague. Derek said I was overreacting about that (MDP) - he said that people weren't dying or anything. Well somebody might die if I find out where she got this!

YIKES!!! If it makes you feel any better, when I taught 2nd grade we had a full blown infestitation in my classroom & the nurse told me that lice isn't attracted to nasty, dirty hair but only hair that is clean and healthy. They don't like hair products like hairspray so to prevent, spray spray and spray!!!
Wow! What a nightmare! I hope it is all over now!
