Spring Fever!!!
We hit 80 degree weather here in Texas yesterday and we definitely have Spring Fever now!!! All the neighborhood kids played outside until after dark. We love anytime we can eat outside on the patio and heat up the hot tub for the kids. They loved it! Needless to say, we didn't quite get to bed at designated bedtimes, but it was fun anyway. I was complaining and complaining that the kids wouldn't get to bed on time (actually because my 2 favorite tv shows were on, and I needed the kids in bed so I could watch!). Then I ran and grabbed my camera and hubby says, "oh - it's not so bad now that the kids are gonna get to bed on time, because you're gonna blog it now!" He's right! :)

Halle Caroline! Sweet girl....she will heal in no time.
Still marveling at our old Texas lives compared to Colorado now and the midwest to follow....snow is a constant instead of 80's.

I LOVED the 80 degree weather too and am SO bummed that it is Saturday and now 36 degrees!!! Only in Texas does it go from 80 to 30!
I laughed at your diet coke story. When I first moved to Texas, I couldn't believe that so many people were obsessed with Sonic. (It is not like that in Ky!) Can you believe I even passes on a car sticker for 99 cents drink that all my friends had? I thought they were crazy!! Now, I'm completely hooked and try to only go during Happy Hour as well. Also, my husband will drive MILES out of the way when we are in the Dallas area just to find a QT for their fountain drinks! (He likes all their choices and the price!) Too funny!
