Getting ready for Easter

Getting ready for Easter in our family means lots of baking, dying Easter eggs, and a neighborhood Easter egg hunt. Fun times! Lots of pics.

Making homemade cutout cookies. They are one of my specialties. :)

Cutting out the cookies (I just woke up! I know I look horrible!)

Decorating cookies

Dad even pitched in to help ice the cookies. Thanks honey!

Neighborhood Egg Hunt

This is a serious race involving my neighbor, Mika (in the lime green race for the cure shirt), me, and our 2 sons. I lost when I didn't get the balloon tied good. I have a feeling that there could be a lot of friendly competition between the 2 of us! ;)

Serious egg decorating...

I have to agree with NeNe. Those cookies were the best! By the way, what's that new precious chalkboard I spied on your refrigerator? Is that new? I think I have to have one!
