My SIL, Amber has this camera along with a host of others and it takes amazing pictures. I got to play with hers at Easter. I took the same pictures with my camera and with her camera. The difference in quality is quite noticable. I had to convince hubby. It took all of about 5 seconds to do that when I showed him the same picture from 2 different cameras. My kids are only little once and I want to be able to see EVERY.SINGLE.DETAIL of their sweet faces (maybe not mine though! ;0) ). You can be sure that I will be posting pictures of random things tonight or tomorrow. It's the little things in life that make me so excited! Yippie!

I am so jealous! I really want a nicer camera for our Hong Kong adventure. My only concern was about my lack of expert photography skills. Cannot wait to hear what you think about your new toy. It's sure to be a fun weekend w/ lot of photo opportunities.

I'm dying for the Canon Rebel.....very much like this one. Nikons are awesome, too. I'm scared to make the move to an SLR, though......I take my camera everywhere and can conveniently throw it in my diaper bag now. A larger one and with more $$ behind it would make me nervous. Juice box spills, kids dropping it, etc.....just can't do it while I have 2 toddlers. Perhaps in another year or so, I'll make the move!
