I woke up this morning to the sound of my home phone ringing. at 6:36am. which means that my iphone alarm did NOT go off. because...why? you ask....because my beloved iphone was DEAD. No, not the battery was dead....THE WHOLE PHONE WAS DEAD. Therefore, the alarm did not go off. And we were supposed to drive carpool for the football boys. It was my neighbor calling to see where the heck we were. That neighbor wishes she never got involved in a carpool with me. I am sure of it. I am constantly calling her to give her some excuse of why I can't drive... I'm flying, death in the family, a kid's dentist appointment. It's always something with me. It's because I have too many kids. A word of advise to those of you that can still heed caution. Do not ever have more kids than there are parents. It's just not a good combination. By the way, have I ever mentioned that I was a really great mom to ONE kid.
Back to the subject at hand....People.... do you know how much I love this thing. It's like my cigarette. Yesterday while in the othodontist office with Halle Caroline, I accidentally left it in the car because when we drove up, we saw someone we knew and I got sidetracked and left it in the car. Needless to say, that was the longest hour and a half I have ever had in my life with no phone to check email, facebook, stock, repeatedly over and over again. That's what I do, that's how I roll. Although, I do have the Bible app on my phone, I rarely go to it. I know it's sad.
So, it's been an hour and a half with no iphone and I'm in hives and started to go into convulsions. But here's the kicker. I don't mind going to go get a new one because if money is to be well spent, well this is defenitely worth the money! No doubt about it. The problem is... I am deathly afraid that the SECOND I go get a new iphone, the NEXT DAY, they are going to come out with a new cute PINK ONE. I know it's gonna happen. Just know it. That is what has kept me in my love affair with the old original iphone. Just he and I since February of 2008.

I know how you feel! I'm addicted too! It's really dangerous with all the new apps you can buy for your phone now! Hang in there...You CAN do it!
Heather, this is quite an edgy post for you! I think you need to stop reading Coco's blog. She's a bad influence.
Please go back to your sweet, perfect self that I have written up in my mind as your bio.
:)
LOL, Casey, I agree with you... Very edgy, Heather!
My iphone went still the other day; totally and completely frozen and I coudn't figure out how to turn it off... I was freaking out! The hubby figured it out and it was fine but WTH?!
No believe me you don't live with her! The only thing she is saying or doing all day is txting or emailing or something on her iphone and when she is off her phone she either has lost her iphone and yelling out' "WHERE IS MY IPHONE?" or she is saying "My iphone is SOO great!" Hahaha not exaggerating AT ALL! :) Sorry for telling on you mom! :)
of course 10 year olds tend to exaggerate. don't believe everything she says!
Hum! How bout txting your Mom sometime... that is as soon as you get the new one.
um. I'm with HC. She is not exaggerating. :)
But no judging here...bc I am also usually yelling, "Where is my phone? Does someone have my phone? WHO TOOK MY PHONE???!...oh, it's right here!"
And I have been known, on occasion, to get "grounded" from my iphone by my husband.
So glad you got your new phone before you started getting hives! :)
You missed Carpool on your day to drive!! OMG....you are so bad : ) I have the wonderful 6:25 AM carpool this coming week, so I guess I shouldn't jinx myself by making fun of you LOL. Hope you got your new IPhone.
What a bummer. You didn't drop it in the toilet again did you?! You need the E Online app. Full of celeb gossip.
