It is, it truly is a crisis... after we had a boy, of course I wanted a girl SO BAD and she was so much fun, that when we found out we were having surprise #3, I thought I just had to have ANOTHER GIRL! Oh how I prayed for a healthy baby....girl....
She's 8 now.
I gave up my battle of clothing with Halle Caroline a while ago. But Ellison, she's JUST 8! I mean really, Halle Caroline was still wearing Boden, and Keido at this age. Not Ellison. It's driving me C*R*A*Z*Y*!!!! She wants to wear jeans and a t-shirt EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. I'm about to go bonkers. She's my last baby, I want her to look CUTE! I have probably bought $1000 worth of clothes for these 2 girls in the last 2 months, only to take them ALL back. I take them out of the sack and immediately they turn their nose up and say "NO!"
So here is my latest purchase for Ellison.
cute, no?
I begged and begged for her to just try them on. She finally did, because I would not give up. Only to say, "no way"
So I took everything out of her closet and left in only the things that she will wear. This is what we are left with. This is all that is left. Her wardrobe until Spring comes. I am secretly praying that she will get so sick of jeans and t-shirts.
I am NOT ready for my baby to be wearing Aeropostle and Abercrombie. That's what she wants....thank goodness it doesn't fit her.
These were the good ole days... a cute keido outfit and a huge bow (No comments from you Casey!)
Ellison, age 2 3/4

Sweet baby Jesus, will you look at that bow?!!!!!!!!
(Like I wasn't.)
Precious. I will be heartbroken when Lainey won't let me dress her up like she's my little doll. So, I change her outfit twice a day now and sometimes three times......just because I can.
:)
Oh my! That bow is awesome. You know I love me some big bows on Tessie Mayes. LOVE IT!
Bram is already wanting to dress himself, and always looks crazy. But Tess is still done up every single day. Her teachers make fun of me and say it makes them nervous, afraid to get something on her Oilily or Boden. I always say, "it's just clothes AND she is my baby girl!"
You are HILARIOUS taking her clothes out of her closet and just leaving the jeans. She will surely get sick of it right?
Good luck, Momma!
How very cute and funny. All I have to say to you, Heather, is what goes around, comes around! I remember when YOU were Ellison's age; you hated all the clothes that I picked out for you! And remember, when they are 15 and 16 - you probably won't be able to afford the clothes that they want then. (Remember...)
I have clothes issues with my 4 year old! She'll put on an outfit that I picked out, and if she doesn't like how it looks on, she'll take it off and ask for another outfit. She's 4!! And so picky! Wondering what she will be like when she's 8?!?!
Do I need to send Kaila over their to pick out "cute" outfits for her to wear??? You can tell her Kaila doesn't even wear the name brand clothes and she is almost 16!
I'm practically the same way and I drive my mom crazy. If you don't want to be a ble to tell she is wearing name brands is ACCESORIZE. I still wear big bows they are totally back in!
