Insta-Saturday

Well

maybe I will start a little thing called

"Insta Saturday"...

where I recap my instragrams for the week...

or maybe I won't.

But today I will!

Instagram seems to be working for me to document things for now.

Blogging sure isn't!

No time to sit at the computer

except on Saturdays when Ababa (daddy) takes Beck in the makina

for their Saturday ritual of getting breakfast.

Beck's english is coming right along!

This week he started saying:

all done

you ready?

come on

swim

swimsuit

Aimee makina 

(he knows that means we are going walking with Aimee in the stroller!)

one of my favorite things to do with him is to ask him what things are...

sometimes he will give me the english word and so I ask again,

and he will give me the amharic or oromio word (who knows which it is??),

and I will try to say it and then he laughs at me! ha!

I guess I am trying to learn words, so he doesn't lose that language! :)

I'm sure a lost cause though! ;)

Some have asked how he does while the kids are at school??

I think we brought him home at such a perfect time,

while the kids were out of school and he got to see the family dynamics.

But let me tell ya!

He doesn't miss them when they are gone...

I think he really enjoys being the only pebble on the beach! :)

But he is sure happy to see them when they get home or we pick them up!

He is still LOVING swimming and doing SO GOOD!

Awesome gift in the mail straight from the San Diego Padres and our sweet friend Chad!

A lefty glove for Beck and a TaylorMade Padres hat for Brooks, along with the sweetest note about lefty pitchers in the big leagues.

Beck is either left handed or ambidextruous, not sure just yet, or right handed???

Pretty sure Ababa is hoping for a lefty!

Where once again he was a star.

Probably should start signing autographs.

Yesterday he kept finding Christmas ornaments??

I have no idea where he was getting them??

But he broke both that he found

and then came to me and was like "cwass?" (ball)

I mean, why wouldn't you throw a cwass???

and that's all I got for now!
