Ellison's 11th birthday!

We had a fun pool party for Ellison's 11th!

She had a hard time deciding exactly what she wanted to do for her party...

She really wanted to have a big fat slumber party...

but I somehow used the excuse of "cocooning"

and how in the world would Beck ever know

that all these people didn't live with us,

if 20 of her BEST friends spent the night??!! ;)

So a pool party with a scavenger hunt, it was...

And let me tell ya!

The scavenger hunt was a brilliant idea actually.

I sent Halle Caroline and Chandler with each group,

so they at least had one older person

"semi in charge"

and I had 45 minutes of serenity amongst the chaos of a pool party.

But let me just tell you,

who was the star of the party...

he got just a little attention!

 On Sunday, after church,

Ellison got to pick lunch...

And like all good little girls do,

they pick their momma's favorite place!

So off to Joe T's it was...

and we dragged the Polks with us...

considering it is not their favorite place.

Derek and I were so nervous..

and said it was like taking visitors to church with you...

you want the worship to be perfect and the sermon to be perfect...

It was a great day, but not sure they are going back.

Chandler will kill me for this picture,
