ahhh...
life has been busy...
the past couple instagram saturdays seemed to have
slipped away!
lol!
I am embarrased to say that I have not taken one picture
with my real camera since the first day of school.
all I have are iPhone photos.
I am going to have to be better about that!
Beck continues to do amazingly well.
not sure if I have just read so many books
about all the bad stuff that could be...
that I don't sweat the small stuff...
or that he's just really doing awesome!
He totally is though.
He is so happy... really really happy.
sure, he can throw a 3 year old fit with the best of 'em...
but he's getting the hang of things around here mostly.
His english is coming along great.
Still repeats a lot of what we say.
He can definitely communicate all of his needs/wants.
He is very affectionate.
He wants everyone to be happy.
And if someone is not happy,
he will tell them they are "conjo" (beautiful),
in hopes of making them feel better or not be mad/sad.
The last two weeks he has rocked the stay and play at the gym.
Can we all say "AMEN"!!!
momma really needed to have that part of my life.
walking with the stroller just wasn't cutting it.
so this was just huge for us.
the little things in life...
He is so happy to go and "play with the kids" but most of all
"color"!!!!
He walks in and out like a champ!
Looks like he is probably going to go by both "Gudeta" and "Beck"
Bless his heart! Confusing!
He answers to both...
I think I might be the only one in our immediate family that calls him Beck on occasion.
Brooks and Halle Caroline have declared that he is "Gudeta" to them.
The kids friends call him by both names.
I'm sure I have confused people with what to call him!!!
I'm good at that ----- HALLE CAROLINE. (btw- NEVER shortened)
moving on to pics...
His first ride in the pink bug!
I didn't let him ride in this car for the 1st 6 weeks home.
Because seriously... (to me) a car seat and a convertible...
there's just something not right about that.
haha!
But everyday he asked to ride in it!
"conjo makina"
"pink makina"
and let's be serious... who wouldn't want to ride in it???
best.car.ever.
Playing at the park after workout.
our daily ritual
Yo Gabba Gabba makes you put on your sunglasses and dance!
so blurry...
playing on the stairs and
waiting on our social worker for 1st post placement visit.
trying to keep them from tearing up the house.
Sporting his new Rangers shirt!
Gotta wear it while we can,
thought he would be wearing this through October...
not so sure at this point.
"Gudeta - all done saaaa-leeeep"
(He always refers to himself in the 3rd person!)
and uhhh, no! you did not saaaa-leeep!
Welcome to America where we like to teach our kids to multi task with electronics. :/
Yo Gabba Gabba on the big screen and who knows what on the iPad.
hope he's entertained ;) lol
I'm sure there is so much more to tell...
but he's asleep...
and well, nap time is really never long enough...

He is just too cute!! So glad he's adjusting well!! Isn't it amazing how quick they pick up English? I swear James understand almost everything we say to him :)
I totally get the adjustment thing. Hannah Cate is doing amazingly well too. I have just realized that everything is a per child basis and that if you go in with no expectations, it is easier to just roll with it and figure out your child as you go along and not always go by what all the books say. So glad he is doing good. He is a cutie pie!
What happy pictures of Beck! He is such a happy 3 year old! Miss you guys!
Love that he speaks of himself in the 3rd person. Saaaaleep! So cute.
Hi My name is Jenna
Your kids are beautiful princesses, handsome prince’s, cute blessings, special earthly angels, and precious gifts and miracles. Beck is totally adoreble! I love his smile! Especially the pic of him with the sun glasses on, totally adoreble! He is such a loveble munchkin.
I was born with a rare life threatening disease, developmental delays, and 14 other medical conditions.
Here is a new poem I wrote, it’s called it takes courage:
It Takes courage to love
Like a dove
It takes courage to fight,
It takes courage to do what’s right
It takes courage to stay strong,
When things go wrong
It takes courage to write a song
It takes courage to live
It takes courage to give
It takes courage to fight this beast
It takes courage to be brave
It takes courage to smile and wave
It takes courage to keep positive
Keep on fighting!
It takes courage to win!
