Blogworthy

So.... tonight Derek and I went to grab a quick bite to eat.... we asked all the kids to go with us.... Ellison was the only taker.  She asked to go to Yogurtland after dinner.... and since she's the only one who still enjoys hanging with mom and dad, we treat her right.  Well, it was an ipad or yogurtland.  We chose yogurtland.  You know, the Jonas brothers all live pretty close in proximity to us.  There are sightings of them ALL the time.  So much so, that the people in the area are pretty used to it.  One of Ellison's friends actually saw Kevin Jonas not too terribly long ago at Yogurtland as well.  So as we were walking in, Ellison said, "I wonder if we will see the Jonas brothers tonight???"  I replied, "Oh Ellison.... I don't think so."  So as we are sitting there enjoying our yogurt, Derek says, "look who just walked in?  isn't that one of them?" I start freaking out.... "OH MY WORD!!!! OH MY WORD!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!" I am totally over dramatic like that.  So.... we are sitting right by the cash register.... and we decide that we are going to grab him - I mean ask him to take a pic right after he checks out.... Well, we just sit there and do nothing as he pays and and LEAVES!!! I totally think that he is just going to walk outside and sit and eat his yogurt. and we will catch a pic with him on our way out, as to not make such a big scene.... instead, they walk straight to their car!!! WHAT????? I did not expect that!!! So, I grab Ellison and say "COME ON!"  We run outside.  By this time he is getting in the driver's door and little wife is getting in passenger door.  I can't even see him anymore... 

Me yelling:  , "KEVIN KEVIN!!" (I didn't even know if that was his name for sure, but Ellison assured me that it was.) 

Sweet Kevin Jonas: (he totally walks to the back of his car where he can see us again) HELLO!

Me:  I am sooooooooo sorry. Can we just get one quick little pic???

Sweet Kevin:  oh sure, no problem at all. absolutely.

Sweet Kevin:  (looking at Ellison) Hi! I'm Kevin!

Ellison:  silence and huge smile

Me:  Kevin.... this is Ellison.  

Me:  (remembering he has a wife with him)...  Hi Sweet wife!  Would you like to get in the pic too???

Sweet wife: okay.....

Sweet Kevin:  this is my wife Danielle (introducing Danielle to Ellison)

It was just sweet.  Kevin Jonas and his wife could not have been more nice.  Love that!

A few items to note:

*He has knickers on....

*Look at her ring!

*I just kept thinking.... maybe he will see my Africa necklace.... and I can tell him about how they need clean water over there!!! and there are 147 million orphans that need help! One track mind... I know.

*I wish I could see his shoes.  Wonder if he has TOMS on?  They are probably Vans. boo.
