Halle Caroline posted this on her blog and I just had to share... So precious.... our kids are so excited about the big change in our family.
Two most EXCITING days of my life!!!

Ok the first most exciting day of my life was last night when my parents pulled out a video camera to see our reaction telling there disition about adopting you can read at my moms blog at what happened and led us to it! Almost everyday something would bring me to the thought about adopting... (If we would, how bad i wanted to, how i thought thats what god wanted for our family that's what Brooks, Ella , and I had thought about that whole time as we watched Lucy Lane, Abe, Seth and all those people out there adopt it inspired our whole family! Ellison was so funny about it she would be like i saw mom and dad on Gladley Center of Adoption on the computer and all of that! We kept our hopes high and every time we brought it up to our parents they would change the subject or tell us some reason why we couldn't! Every day we would come closer and closer soon we would be talking about names and plane tickets together... Brooks and I were just like "OK WE ARE TALKING ABOUT PLANE TICKETS AND NAMES... I THINK WE ARE GONNA ADOPT!" We had thought and prayed about it a while... and eventually we all found it was right to adopt! Pray that we will get a healthy kid right for our family! I can't wait to someday be posting picks of us and our new african little boy!:)

A few things to note:

*disition = decision

*I think the thing that brought HC to the thought about adoption everyday, was God!  He wouldn't leave anyone in the family alone on this subject! :)

*note to self-- I need to remind HC that God is always spelled with a capital when referring to HIM.

*I'm hoping to get that video posted of us "officially" telling the kids about our "disition" (decision) to adopt... as soon as I can figure out how to post it.
